My wife and I have been big Bob Marshall Treeless saddle fans for years, UNTIL my wife ended up trying and buying a Ghost Buttera saddle. I really liked the way hers looked, fit her horse and how comfortable it was but I wanted a more masculine looking version for myself. I took on trial, a Ghost Ferrera with a Mohawk pommel and a western skirt. I knew it was the right saddle for me and my horse. It supports my horses back and clears his spine so much better than the Bob Marshall. I can feel the difference in the way he moves and he is not sore after our rides. It's a very well made saddle and I love riding in it! I'm glad my wife twisted my arm to try one!
 

When it came time to replace my 20+ year old saddle, I wandered into my local tack shop and was introduced to the line of Ghost saddles. It quickly became clear that the only practical choice for me was in fact a Ghost saddle. I was able to easily adjust the saddle to fit my completely differently shaped TB/QH and my SSH and eventually my TWH that had no withers. The Ghost allowed each one, and others that have followed, to move freely in their own way without pinching or causing soreness. Many miles later I have put that saddle through rain, brush, swimming, steep and rocky terrain and just about any condition you can encounter and it is still in great condition  with very little maintenance. I love that it is customizable to me as well as whatever horse I am on and an extra bonus is how lightweight it is!
 

I have a very hard to fit little 13.3 Paso Fino. He is very narrow and it has been difficult to find a saddle that fits well, is comfortable for me and makes me feel secure. The Ghost Buttera has met all of those needs! It fits me & my Paso perfectly. It is the most comfortable saddle I have ever ridden in and I feel more secure than I have ever felt in a saddle. I loved it so much I ended up talking my husband into getting one too! We have both ridden in different treeless saddles but the Ghost is by far the most comfortable and best fitting saddle for all of our horses.

Being new to Ghost Saddles, I find the Ferrera Soft Saddle comfortable and lightweight for both myself and my horse. Allowing the horse full range of motion to hindaquarters and rider close contact to the horse. The versatility in sizing from one horse to another is a huge plus. In addition I just learned by purchasing a different seat you can configure the saddle to a different look. Lastly, the ease of cleaning and maintenance becomes less of a chore. I am sold!

I have been riding since I was 5 years old and I am now 67. I have ridden Western, English, Australian and treeless saddles. My gaited horse loves my Ghost saddle as much as I do. It allows the shoulder movement she needs, creating that glide ride we love. I love the Ghost as much, if not more than she does. I have never ridden a more comfortable saddle. It took me a little bit of adjusting to get it perfect for both of us, but with the help of a good saddle fitter it was an easy process. Kim was amazing with her extensive knowledge!! Not only are Ghosts hand made in Italy, but they are fully customizable in any color, style, seat, etc. Another added benefit is the weight.at only 10 lbs. My ghost is the last saddle I will ever own. They are great for any horse or dicipline. By the way, you can take one on trial to see if you think its the saddle for you. You won't be sorry!

The reason I first considered a Ghost Saddle was because my horse's withers were thinning as he got older and my saddles were putting pressure on his spine. I heard "The Ghost" could solve these issues. I was thrilled when I tried it o him and realized how lightweight and comfortable it could be for him. When I sat in the saddle I felt a little higher than usual, but once riding I moved in sync with him in the most comfortable and secure saddle I ever had. I love the way it looks, I love the way it feels and have no worries about my horse's comfort. Highly recommend!
